Crunch time - 6 days!

Mom and Dad, Brooke and Nick, Mia, and Jason and I went to the ranch yesterday to do some setup. It went really well, and I'm just so excited to marry my Best Friend!

Today, I'd just love to gush about how wonderful Mr. Percy is, and how much I look forward to becoming his permanent partner in crime... But I'd rather show you images!

I've been flipping (and flipping!) through images - looking for some inspiration for wedding photography, and possibly some last minute details. (like I need another thing TO DO!)

I wandered down the rabbit hole on {theknottybride.com} and was mesmerized by the lovely brides, grooms and photographs... ahh.

I had originally imagined a garland running along the aisle from chair to chair. But the chairs don't quite work for that. So, I thought: Shepherd Hooks! Yay! Then, I discovered how expensive they are... I was about to chuck the idea all toghether, and I still may... If this doesn't work!

Water Bottles

I assigned my students to a design problem:
Create a water bottle label for my wedding!
Some are decent, others need "help."

#3 from the left: turquoise vintage camera on one side,
and the other side reads: Remember this Day. Take a picture it lasts longer.

Wedding Soda Machine

There is a soda machine at the ranch, in the party barn that takes no money, they rigged it up so you just push the button and get what you want... so I'm going to stock the machine up with beer and soda, PLUS...

I designed this cover for it!

I hand painted/spray painted the menu - chalkboard paint, and acrylic for the Menu Flag.

Memento stamp pads for the thumbprint tree.

Perfect birdcage for the wedding reception!

I stopped at a yard sale and picked these brooches up :)

tissue poms... I'm going cross eyed making these.

Vintage aqua/turquoise Strawberry I picked up from a local shop. It just seems like happiness, doesn't it?


Rustic Birdhouse from Joann Fabrics - 50% off - can't say no to that!
The cake lady gave me samples of wedding cake... cupcakes! Strawberry, Orange, Chocolate, Red Velvet, and Choco-Coconut. I obliterated the orange.

ahh Photography Inspiration...

Wedding Party:
No Bridesmaids, No groomsmen.
The officiant is my cousin Debbie, who was a flower girl in my parent's wedding,
and my mom was a bridesmaid in hers!
My Dad will walk me down the aisle.
And of course there's Jason and I.
LOVE!



There will be trees, and hopefully diffused light underneath the canopy.

No garter throw, no bouquet throw.
(My bouquet would cause injury)

Crossing my fingers to get a classic car...
